Game Plan Training and Dallas trip!

We headed out to Dallas for a great weekend of Beachbody training and fun with our friends! Friday morning, we got up and had our breakfast, I did a short workout and then we hit the road. We met up with Jim and his family (Jim is a friend from high school) at a really cool coffee bar in Sherman TX. Brian had his usual coffee and I had a chai latte! YUM! The coffe bar was quaint and the perfect place to meet up! Carla and the girls are adorable and so nice. Lauren and Lindsey were a delight to meet! We visited for about an hour and then we were off to Dallas.

We got to our hotel and unpacked and then headed out to find some dinner. We ended up eating at a nearby restaurant called the Hot Bowl. We promptly re-named it Hot Mess! The food was good, but I think I enjoyed it more than Brian!!! After dinner, we decided to call it a night since we had been driving all day!
We got up bright and early ready to attend the Team Beachbody Game Plan Training Event! I am so glad that I went to this! I learned so much and Brian was such a trooper and made it through the morning session. We met some great Beachbody people!! I was so inspired by Betty's story and can't wait to talk to her again!

As soon as the training was over, we went to Frisco TX to visit Rodney, Diane and Claire! Brian and Rodney went to high school together and they moved from Joplin in July. It was great to see them and get to check out their new house! (Beautiful!!) We sat by the pool, I am so jealous of the great weather they have, and then we went to eat at Manny's! The food was good, but the company was even better! We left early this morning so we could get home and work on laundry and rest a bit before we start out crazy week! We were both glad that we had gone and can't wait until we can go on our next trip. Not sure where it will be, but it will be planned soon. We were taking one long weekend a month up until Brian's accident and I think we are ready to get those going again! So much fun!
